There’s a kind of presence that’s hard to forget—generous with attention, quietly inquisitive, engaging without ego. It is the kind of a presence that leaves footprints in your mind, and a warmth of spirit in your soul. That’s how I’d describe the author of the posts on the website: Echoes from the Edge.
We met years ago and struck up a sporadic but enduring conversation—circling around questions of how to live more fully, how to become better humans, and how this desire intersects with thriving in both life and work.
As time passed, so did the depth of our dialogue. Those conversations helped shape what would eventually become Insightful Path, and, as of a recent chat just last week, I learned they also helped spark the launch of Echoes from the Edge.

One of the most enduring lessons I’ve carried, and a lesson that makes me value all the more these conversations, comes from the way I was taught to approach life’s deeper truths. One learns Truth through the teacher, the teachings, and the community. Each of these is essential—but today, I want to highlight the power of the community in which we grow.
In my own journey, I’ve grown immensely not just from wise mentors or transformative ideas, but from engaging with others who are also seeking to become better humans. Whether in conversation, in reading, or in shared reflection, I come away feeling renewed—more equipped to follow the path of insight myself.

Shared struggle and success are cornerstones of any meaningful practice. Whatever the pursuit—leadership, learning, self-awareness—it deepens when done together.
In my work in leadership development, I explore a wide range of topics—each a thread that can weave into a stronger, more connected life and workplace. Resources like Echoes from the Edge offer thoughtful provocations—ideas that stretch us, ground us, and guide us toward growth.
I know that there’s no shortage of chaos and injustice in the world, things that need attention. At times, the sheer weight of it all makes me question what my individual difference actually does.
And yet—I’m reminded of those who’ve gone before:

Gandhi, who urged us to “be the change you wish to see in the world.”
Maya Angelou, who said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
And Oprah Winfrey, who reminded us, “We can’t become what we need to be by remaining what we are.”
This post—and the reflections you’ll find in Echoes from the Edge—are an invitation. To be the change. To grow. To become.
